Alliance for Period Supplies

This is a subject most men will turn their head away from but let's keep it real guys. Your lady has a period and if you are a father, your daughter will have one. What most don't realize is the need for period supplies. I can distinctly remember being in school and not having the supplies needed for a unexpected period. Back then our school counselor did not have supplies on hand like most schools do these days.  I took a pledge to help #endperiodpoverty by starting a conversation during Period Poverty Awareness Week May 25-31. Even after May 31, I will still honor my pledge and continue to spread this information. What can you do to help?

National Diaper Bank

This is awesome! This was in my news feed scroll on Facebook. The need for diapers is real and while reading through their web site I found I can donate my Huggie Reward points. Huggies is listed as a Founding Sponsor. For more information check them out on Facebook  or by clicking directly here . For all the clearance shoppers, penny shoppers, consider donating the diapers not just to your local shelter or food bank but to this organization.  Help #EndDiaperNeed

Swagbucks

Many years ago I use to make web pages so I am a bit picky about how things should look or work on a page. Let us use Swagbucks as a example since my pet peeve is with this site in particular. I have been a member of Swagbucks for a long time, probably since they first launched to be honest with you. For those of you who don't know what Swagbucks is, you can complete surveys, answer daily poll questions, print coupons and be rewarded for shopping online. Your rewards can be exchanged for gift cards or PayPal. It is legit because I have redeemed my points for Amazon gift cards. Every now and then I will log in just to keep my account active and last week when doing so I noticed at the top of a page they now give you 2 SB (Swagbucks) per receipt you upload. I thought "interesting" since I already use 3 other receipt apps to earn gift cards. This apparently is not something new as I had thought but rather (according to their blog) is something they launched in 2019.   In my

Amazon Accepts EBT

Well, all I have to say is It's. About. Time . Whether you have SNAP/EBT or P-EBT you can now order groceries from Amazon.  Here is the screenshot I received in my email probably about 2 weeks ago. Here is a list of the following states by checking here . The process is pretty simple. You will need to enter your EBT card number, which they will validate.  This includes ordering from Amazon Pantry - but if your order is under $35 you will have a $5.99 shipping charge. Once your place the order in the cart, make sure your EBT card is charged and not your debit card. When you place the order with your EBT card, you will be taken to another page to enter your PIN number.  Convenient for those hard to find items local stores do not carry but most importantly, you do not have to leave the house! Let's not forget Walmart, however, you have to order from them online and then go pick the groceries up. Honestly, my preferred choice is Amazon because if I am paying for Prime, they better
